We were friends long before we became partners in K8C.

Our story began over great dinners, places discovered while travelling, bottles of wine opened at just the right moment, and endless conversations about what makes something truly good.

For us, food has never been just food.

It is the people around the table, the laughter, the conversations and those evenings that last a little longer than planned.

Years later, after following our own professional paths, that same curiosity brought us together again.

This time, around caviar.

We were drawn to caviar for its flavour, heritage and the extraordinary world behind it — but also because its story is much closer to home than it may seem.

Sturgeon, and caviar itself, have long been part of Serbian gastronomic history. Somewhere along the way, that connection was almost forgotten.

We want to preserve everything that makes caviar special, while bringing it back to the table — with friends, family, celebrations, or simply for one of those days when, as we like to say, you’re in crisis and need a little luxury.

That idea became K8C.

The future of caviar depends on the future of the sturgeon. That is why responsible production matters to us just as much as exceptional taste.

Our current source is certified by Friend of the Sea and follows principles of responsible aquaculture, traceability, careful use of natural resources and protection of sturgeon populations.

From controlled farming and water-conscious systems to initiatives that help replenish sturgeon populations in the Caspian Sea, every step matters.
